Soviet Russian Dialectical Materialism [Diamat]
Free Download Soviet Russian Dialectical Materialism [Diamat] By J.E. Blakeley; Nicolas Sollohub
2011 | 193 Pages | ISBN: 9401036314 | PDF | 9 MB
This book offers a critical outline of the sources of the history, of the spirit and of the doctrines of present-day Soviet Russian Dialectical Materialism ('Diamat'), i.e. of the philosophical foundations of Marxism Leninism. It is scarcely necessary to stress the usefulness of a short outline of this kind, as Russian sources are not easily accessible in the West and as it is of considerable interest to know the doctrines which make up the faith of the Communists in all countries. The material for this book was first made public in a series of lectures at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), first in French in the summer term of 1949, later in English at the Summer School in the same year. The French text, slightly expanded, was translated into German by Miss M. Hoerkens, Dipl. rer. pol. Various imperfections in the wording of the text and in the bibliography can be explained by the process of formation of this book. The author hopes that such imperfections will not prove disturbing.Józef Maria Bocheński (Czuszów, Congress Poland, Russian Empire, 30 August 1902 - 8 February 1995, Fribourg, Switzerland) was a Polish Dominican, logician and philosopher.

Treating Trauma in Dialectical Behavior Therapy The DBT Prolonged Exposure Protocol
Melanie S. Harned, "Treating Trauma in Dialectical Behavior Therapy: The DBT Prolonged Exposure Protocol "
English | ISBN: 1462549128 | 2022 | 444 pages | PDF | 5 MB
Many DBT clients suffer from posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but until now the field has lacked a formal, tested protocol for exactly when and how to treat trauma within DBT. Combining the power of two leading evidence-based therapies-and designed to meet the needs of high-risk, severely impaired clients-this groundbreaking manual integrates DBT with an adapted version of prolonged exposure (PE) therapy for PTSD. Melanie S. Harned shows how to implement the DBT PE protocol with DBT clients who have achieved the safety and stability needed to engage in trauma-focused treatment. In a convenient large-size format, the book includes session-by-session guidelines, rich case examples, clinical tips, and 35 reproducible handouts and forms that can be downloaded and printed for repeated use.

Author: Murray Bookchin | Narrator: James R. Cheatham
What is nature? What is humanity's place in nature? And what is the relationship of society to the natural world? In an era of ecological breakdown, answering these questions has become of momentous importance for our everyday lives and for the future that we and other life-forms face. In the essays of The Philosophy of Social Ecology, Murray Bookchin confronts these questions head on, invoking the ideas of mutualism, self-organization, and unity in diversity, in the service of ever-expanding freedom.
